Board of Directors
Dr. Peter Radley - Chairman Peter has been a key player with UK Government organizations promoting the rollout of Broadband.
Paul Evans – CEO and Founder Paul, currently a member of the programme committee for the UK Government's Parliamentary IT Committee, has also provided consultancy to a number of blue-chip companies and has been an investment manager at a UK leading technology investor. He holds a degree from Aston University and is the author of a number of patents.
Professor Peter Cochrane - Non Executive Director After leaving BT in 2000, Peter formed his own company – ConceptLabs. He is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University and Essex University. He is a visiting professor to a number of Universities, the Collier Chair for The Public Understanding of Science & Technology at The University of Bristol, and is a Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. He has published and lectured widely on technology and the implications of IT. Peter’s work has been recognized with many awards and in 1999, he was awarded an OBE for his contribution to international communications.
Ric Ackland-Snow - Non Executive Director. Ric is the “Entrepreneur in Residence” and investment committee member at Create Ventures, a boutique Venture Capital company based in Cambridge, investing in businesses with high growth potential. He is a mentor and adviser to numerous early stage companies and is a business angel investor. His background as a software and systems application specialist has been instrumental to his success in setting up a number of businesses, including UK Direct Insurance for AIG Corp, the UK special Insurance facility for Aon Corp, and ASA Insurance.
Senior Management
Richard Roberts - Business Director (UK) Richard is a highly experienced Sales, Marketing and business leader within the Telecommunications industry. He has held various senior positions in the last 15 years in BT’s international business including: Managing Director BT Worldwide Italy, Managing Director BT Portugal, and BT Director Gibtel. More recently Richard was a Senior Business Director at BT Global Services. Richard has extensive experience throughout EMEA, US and UK and is renowned for his ability to build highly successful multi-national teams delivering significant business growth, profitability and ‘turn arounds’ in a range of different markets. He is an expert commercial troubleshooter and enjoys an excellent reputation for developing key business relationships with large multi-national customers, service providers, channel partners, suppliers as well as venture partners & shareholders in joint ventures.
Dr. David Miller - Marketing Consultant (UK) After a strong technical background working on Direct Digital Control and Process Simulation at Pilkington Glass, Dr Miller gained a practical knowledge of Sales and Marketing at IBM. He then joined Videcom, a small private UK company, as head of Sales and increased their turnover ten fold selling to the World’s Airlines and Telcos. David went on to co-found several successful US and UK start-ups and has considerable experience marketing to and working for major Telcos.
Emma Steinberg – Vice President, Business Development (US) Emma has managed sales teams selling to Fortune 100 customers and has developed, implemented, and managed indirect sales distribution channels for both Internap and SAVVIS, working with multiple independent agents, and small and large alliance and technology partners. During her tenures at GTE and Internap, she developed and grew product marketing organizations to support core data and IP products, including connectivity and data center services. |
